New Delhi: ‘Don’t waste your love on somebody, who doesn’t value it,’ said William Shakespeare in his classic play Romeo and Juliet. Now, actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have given it a Swachh Twist. The duo have come together to recreate the magic of Romeo and Juliet, only this time, to spread the message of Swachhta – ‘Don’t waste your love on somebody, who doesn’t value #SwachhIndia.’ The short clip which is the part of the clean India initiative has been released today by the actors on Twitter and hopes to drive home an important point – If we don’t litter abroad then why do we litter in India.
Actor Varun Dhawan shared the video where Romeo is ready to walk away from Juliet with a message, ’When you don’t litter in pardes, then why litter in Swades.’
