Fight Against COVID-19: More Than 100 Artistes Have Come Together To Spread Hope Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

New Delhi: To spread hope amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic and motivate people to do their bit in the fight against the spread of coronavirus, over 100 artistes have come together for the track ‘Guzar Jayega’ (this too shall pass). These artists include megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, Ekta Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Kapil Sharma, Mahesh Bhupati, Leander Paes, Sania Mirza, Vijendra Singh and Bhaichung Bhutia among others.
Amitabh Bachchan is the narrator in the motivational track. At the beginning of the track, he says that even though currently it is a difficult phase but this too shall pass. He says, “Guzar Jayega, Mushkil Bahut hai par waqt he to hai, guzar jayega” (It shall pass, it is difficult but it’s just time and it shall pass). He further says that the will to stay alive will overcome all dark times.
Contemporary Folk artist Raghu Dixit shared the video on his social media account,

Actor Tanisha Mukherjee’s non-governmental organisation NGOStamp which works on the cause of the environment is also a part of the initiative to help people cope WITH the harrowing times of Coronavirus pandemic. Singer Javed Ali while posting the video said,

The track is a brainchild of the film make Varun Prabhudayal Gupta and is directed by Jay Verma. It is composed by Jazim Sharma and written by Siddhant Kaushal.
From the beginning of the lockdown, many artists from the film industry and sports personalities have been raising awareness about the ongoing COVID-19 crisis through social media. Along with motivating people to not lose hope during these times, they have also been encouraging people to stay indoors follow social distancing norms, personal hygiene and protect themselves and their loved ones from catching the virus.
