Why India Needs To Focus On Sustainable Fashion

India is drowning in its own waste, currently, the country is battling a crisis of growing landfills that have been exhausted beyond the permissible limits. The country generates over 150,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste (MSW) per day and according to the World Bank, India’s daily waste generation will more than double to reach 377,000 tonnes a day by 2025. To tackle the garbage menace the need of the hour is to get all channels together and come up with sustainable solutions that will help tackle this waste mess.
