This year on Gandhi Jayanti we observed the Rashtriya Swachhta Diwas as well. As a result NDTV-Banega Swachh India campaign organised a 12-hour Cleanathon which saw over 200 clean-ups across the country.

The main agenda of the cleanathon was to urge all Indians to take up swachhta as their personal responsibility and join the ‘swachh’ movement.

I would like to congratulate you for this initiative but would also suggest to include East Delhi side as well and Ghaziabad also because these areas have become dumpyard. Thanks
