Shocked by such a big announcement, many people raised their doubts about the ODF status of Mumbai.
This does question the sanctity of ODF rating process. Mumbai is definitely not ODF.Please don't let such lies spread.Citizens will laugh.

In the recent Swachh Survekshan Greater Mumbai was at 29th position in terms of sanitation and cleanliness. BMC speeded up the process of construction of individual and community toilets in a bid to attain the tag of Open Defecation Free. BMC also roped in the megastar Salman Khan and appointed him as the brand ambassador of the Open Defecation Free campaign of Mumbai. They also launched a creative Swachh Bharat initiative recently named Chakachak Mumbai in which community toilets were given a creative makeover.
