Asia’s First Consent Cafe is Now Open!
The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) launched Asia's first Consent Cafe at the recent edition of Hornbill Festival in Nagaland. The cafe aims at creating awareness about the importance of consent in relationships. The launch marks TBBT's continued association with Hornbill Festival as its official health partner as the event entered its 25th edition. TBBT is an initiative by Reckitt's Durex and Plan IndiaThe cafe has a dome, rightly called Consent Dome. Donned with pulsating lights, it celebrates tribal bonds and human connection symbolizing harmony and mutual respect. Other states will get their own Consent Cafe as TBBT plans to expand this concept. The expansion plan also includes curated merchandise and magazines aligned with TBBT's Growing Up Life Skills Curriculum.
