Cleanathon Creates Swachhta In Locations Across India

Participants cleaned locations across the nation on Rashtriya Swachhta Diwas on October 2 during the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India Cleanathon.

Mumbai: A cleanliness drive took place at Juhu Beach during the 12-hour Cleanathon.

Bengaluru: The Hebbal flyover, one of the longest in the country, was beautified as part of the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India Cleanathon.

Varanasi: The clean-up drive in the city took place at 84 historical Ghats.

Mumbai: The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus was cleaned and beautified as part of the Swachhta drive in the city.

Agra: The area around Taj Mahal, one of the 10 iconic locations shortlisted for the Swachhta drive, was cleaned as part of the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India Cleanathon.

Mumbai: The clean-up drive held at Versova enabled the elimination of garbage in parts of the beach. Erik Solheim from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) was also present at the event.

Haridwar: A cleanliness drive took place in the city on Rashtriya Swachhta Diwas.
