New Delhi: As the world is fighting the pandemic of coronavirus, actor Salman Khan decided to create awareness about the novel virus that has taken the lives of lakhs of people around the globe via a song. ‘Pyaar Karona, khayal rakhona..’ is the new song that has not only been sung by the actor but has also been penned by him amid coronavirus crisis. The song that has been released recently has a message that each one of us needs to win the war against COVID-19 and be responsible during this crucial time of the pandemic.
Sharing the news of the release of his new song on his social media platforms, Salman Khan said, “Emotionally pass raho aur physically duurr raho na #PyaarKarona (Stay emotionally together but stay away physically..).

Through the song, the 54-year-old actor throws light on different precautionary measures that one can take to prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus that will help India win this battle like working from home, staying at home, practiSing social distancing and not wandering out in the streets unnecessarily. In the song, the actor is also urging people to use this leisure time during the lockdown to work on their hobbies like playing the guitar, writing poetry and practising other artwork.
This is not the first time the actor has joined in the fight against coronavirus.
Earlier this month, the actor had posted a 10-minute long video message for people across the country in order to make them understand the importance of following the guidelines by the authorities. In a stern message, Salman Khan asked people to stay at home and said, “Those who wish to kill their families should definitely step out.” The actor also urged his fans to never step out to get food and medical supplies without a mask and gloves.
Apart from being a vocal supporter, Salman Khan has also pledged to financially help of 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry amid the lockdown.
