Light after 70 years of Independence; a remote tribal village in Amravati's Bulumgavhan in Maharashtra finally gets electrified after living in the dark for 7 decades. The village is inhabited by nearly 600 people of the Korku community and this transformation has been brought about through the Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation initiative. As part of the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India's Independence Day special, we bring to you stories of how as a nation we are working towards freedom from various issues. Here's a special report from the interiors of Maharashtra's Amravati district where the tribal village has got electricity after 70 years of freedom.
