Amitabh Bachchan Sets The Agenda For Banega Swachh India 12-Hour Cleanathon

Into its fourth year, the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India campaign marks October 2 as the Rashtriya Swachhta Diwas. In his opening remarks of the 12-hour Cleanathon, brand ambassador of the campaign, Amitabh Bachchan details out the focus of the campaign this year. The aim is to encourage people to embrace Swachhta - use less plastic, stop littering, separate garbage at source, compost organic waste, keep just ten yards around us clean and green, and pledge to reuse, reduce and recycle the waste in every walk of life.
