Breaking Stereotypes: Members Of Transgender Community Serving As Constables

After centuries of suppression and being devoid of their rights, the third gender community is now slowly taking a step forward. People from the community are now seen serving the public in police uniform in some states. In a first of its kind, Chhattisgarh police last year recruited 13 transgender as constables in 4 districts of the state.
