When the novel coronavirus hit India, an army of nurses rose up to fight it. The nurses have been a huge source of comfort for patients all alone in isolation and COVID-19 wards. Chandini Mulukutla, Infection Prevention Control Nurse's desire to serve the nation and help fellow nurses and doctors to fight against COVID-19 pushed her to cross the borders and resume her duty, that too after delivering a baby. She travelled by road from Vishakhapatnam to Mumbai during the lockdown to join COVID-19 duty post her maternity leave.
