During the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swasth India’s #SwasthyaMantra telethon, Dr Hemant Deshmukh, Dean Of KEM Hospital talked about the human trials of Covishield vaccine which has been developed by the University of Oxford and pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca. In India, it is being manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII). Dr. Deshmukh said that in India, the vaccine has been tested over 100 people.
