Environment Is Critical In The Fight Against COVID-19: Dr Sunita Narain

At the 12-hour #SwasthyaMantra telethon, Sunita Narain, Director, Centre for Science & Environment said that we need to understand how critical environment agenda is in the fight against COVID-19. She further said that we need to make sure we have our economic progress, but also our right to breathe. Dr Narain also highlighted the relationship between environment, clean water and health. Most of the people do not have access to clean water, which is extremely important for the agenda of fighting the pandemic, she said.
