Globally Pollution Kills 1 In 10 Kids Under 5: WHO Report

A report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) titled 'Air Pollution and Child Health: Prescribing Clean Air' highlights the impact of air pollution on children health and pregnant women. Revealing some of the shocking details, the report says, nearly 93 per cent of the world's children are exposed to levels of PM 2.5 which are much higher than the levels approved by WHO. The toxic air also causes low birth rate and impacts fetus.
