Touting government's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as the biggest revolution in the history of India, Minister of States for Tourism, K J Alphons, at NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India talked about the importance of cleanliness in tourism. He said, "As far as tourism is concerned, the most essential infrastructure required for tourism is cleanliness and I am so glad Prime Minister has launched the campaign". The minister also shedded light on the achievement of the campaign that is construction of 90 million toilets and almost all villages going open defecation free (ODF).
