    HI,
I am really interested in this drive.
Some suggestions Iwould like to give.
firstly, the effort which is being put is disjointed.
There should be a central comittee where people
could join in .This should be in each city.
Secondly house wives and school and college
students should be roped in.Colleges should give weightage..
to students who take part in this mission. At the time
of placement interviews companies should giveweightage
to this. Newspaper should exhibit pictures of housewives
    who participate in such events.
Also what is desperately needed are good and plenty of dustbins
which can be made with recycled plastics and paper. In my city
    you hardly see any dustbins.
I am very keen to start a committee in my city but dont know
how to go about it If you can help me, I would be grateful.
    Regards

    Tripti

This is really a great initiative by NDTV Group. Please. keep it up.
Further, people are less likely to drop litter if the litter has printed eyes on it, according to the researchers at New Castle University in Britain.
An image of watching eyes reduced the odds of littering by around two-thirds.
The presence of eye images encourages cooperative behaviour because people think they are being watched.
This research study was reported under the cation ” Wathing eyes prevent littering on street” in the Bengaluru edition of THE HINDU dated 4th Dec 2015.
You may please consider this as a suggestion while you are framing the Agenda for the SwachhIndia. Policy makers and Chief Ministers may also please consider this .

Hello sir , I have a request. I am a victim of bhopal gas tragedy . After so many years also no one has taken initiative to clean the harmful waste of union carbide in bhopal. That waste has now reached the water table and affecting people living around. It is the most important and harmful waste that should be cleaned then only you can call clean Bharat . Please do discuss on this and research about it too. Thanks. Hopefull.

    Dear Sir/Madam

I am Dr. Bhagwanjee Jha, workng on some environmental clean up issues like capturing biogas from waste and toilet septic tanks, which is presently being wasted in the air. As a sincere citizen, I understand, swachh india scheme includes swachh land and swachh air, we breathe. I have been part of several swachhta aviyan as a volunteers but those limited to cleaning roads and streets. The collected wastes are finally thrown at some distant place out of the town. My conceren starts from here:
    (1) the disposed waste produce many objectionable by-products in the air, again dangerous, but least attended in several cities, and hence the dumping sites creates several other environmental challenges/threat for safe air for us.Here, as small researcher and a teacher, I am in favor of capturing the bio gas from waste bearng sites and the controlled degradation of the solid residues.
    (2) The toilets having septic tanks and one vent pipe in most of the houses, discharges biogas continuously to the open environment. And one can imagine if we have several crores of such toilet tanks, the volume of the biogas would be significantly very high, being wasted and polluting environment. On the other hand this gas can be piped and collected/ bottled in a gas bottling plant and commercially supplied as a fuel. On the contrary, no such innovative endeavor is being practised any where, as I guess is existing for environmantal/ human/ ecosystem safety.
    (3) The biogas already being wasted from such toilet tanks can save our huge money over fuel and save environment as a bonus.
    (4) Presently I (WITH MY STUDENTS) am working on this project, AS BEGINNER, and interested to popularize this, but I think this drive needs sincere steps, which would open up new venture in our country. As I find, no country in the world have come up with this idea of networking toilet bio gas and reusing it for our neeed as fuel. It would be big step for restricting global warming as well.
    (5) I tried to connect on YOUR live show today but could not connect through phone. Hope THIS CONCERN ATTRACTS OTHERS ATTENTION TOO, IF YOU FIND THIS USEFUL AND WARRANTING FOR SAFETY OF OUR ENVIRONMENTAL ECOSYSTEM.
    Thanks
