New Delhi: Practising social distancing has become a new necessity of life amid coronavirus crisis which has taken lives of more than 800 people and infected more than 27,000 in India. The world is coming together and adopting the necessary precautionary measure – social distancing in their own unique ways. One such example has recently been shared by Anand Mahindra, Chairman Mahindra Group on his social media. Mr Mahindra tweeted the video of a battery-run E-rickshaw which has been divided into four chambers for four passengers. The driver’s seat is also separated from the passenger area by a solid partition. Sharing the video, he said,
The capabilities of our people to rapidly innovate & adapt to new circumstances never ceases to amaze me.
Further giving this innovation by the E-rickshaw driver a big thumbs up he added,
We need to get this man as an advisor to our product development teams!
