Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali talked about issues surrounding mental health at the Banega Swasth India 12-Hour Swasthagraha campaign today. "In our work, we get into people and we try to see what their emotional or mental nuts and bolts are. I stumble upon issues related to mental health regularly when I observe people and interact with them. In this field, there are some terms that are used lightly in day to day conversation like, 'I am depressed', 'this person is mental', this creates a confusing narrative as if this is very casual and not clinical," he said.
