This Swachh Bharat ad featuring Kangana Ranaut and Amitabh Bachchan is all that was needed to remind all of us about ‘Cleanliness is next to the goddess.’ This is something we grew up listening to and learning since childhood but sadly forgot to apply in our day-to-day lives after growing up.
The video features Kangana who plays the goddess in the video, with other prominent actors like Isha Kopikar, Ravi Kishan, Omkar Kapoor and not to forget Big B, who is the face of the Swachh Bharat Mission. It has been directed by Pradeep Sarkar.
Actress Kangana Ranaut added, “I was a slob who hated taking a shower. I was like a really dirty person. My parents were fed up, nothing good ever happened. I never made friends, no opportunities came my way. Then I read a lot about elements, compositions and energies and I learnt energies are of three types, Sattva, Tamas and Rajas.”
She also added, the most superior type is Sattva and that is all about cleanliness, truth and anything beautiful, artistic, so it starts with a beautiful environment.
And that is what Laxmi – “I” am all about in this ad.
“Ever since I used these things in my life my life changed. So now I love to have shower, love to keep my environment clean and I make sure I never litter,” Kangana said.
The video has already made quite an impact on social media, since the time it has been shared. The video has collected over 1.4 lakh views on YouTube till now.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Message for Swachh India: “My humble request to every one, make sure you keep your home and surroundings clean.” “Swachh Bharat’s thought” should not be only PM Narendra Modi’s dream alone, but should be on everyone’s agenda as well.
