Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Appealed People To Download And Use Swachh App

Banega Swachh India- Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Launches Mobile App To Locate Toilets

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has appealed to its people to download the recently launched Swachh app which is one of the key metrics for improving ranking in the forthcoming Swachh Sarvekshan 2018 (Cleanliness Survey 2018). The survey is a compilation of 4,000 marks comprising of various index of cleanliness including 400 marks for Swachh app, said Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer of JNAC.

We have started motivating people to download the app as much as possible to improve our ranking in the survey. We have set a target to download a record 10,000 Swachh app in a day on November 14, on the eve of Jharkhand Foundation day, Mr Kumar said.

Currently, Devas in Madhya Pradesh holds the record of downloading 8,504 Swachh app in a day. The steel city hopes to better it.

The android app can be downloaded in less than two minutes (depending on internet connection) and an individual can register cleanliness-related complaints to the municipal authorities and also upload photographs of the garbage in their vicinity to prompt the authorities to take immediate action, Mr Kumar further added.

Jamshedpur was ranked 64th in the Swachh Survekshan 2017 (Swachh Bharat survey 2017). The survey was carried out by the Quality Council of India, which deployed 421 assessors for on the spot assessment of 17,500 locations in 434 cities and towns. Another 55 people regularly monitored the survey process in real time.

    Sir facing problem of mosquito of dengue/maleria due to one of my neighbour who littered his waste water of his daily uses next to my house openly on daily basis.
    Pls do the needful.
