The second season of Banega Swachh India season 2 gets launched on 2nd October 2015. To kick-start the season 2, brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan took a ‘Swachhta Ki Pathshala’ with some school children. Here’s what he wrote about his experience, which was first published on his official Tumblr blog on Sept 25/26, 2015.
There is purpose and committed means for the campaigns that we undertake .. the ones that call on us for a Clean India.. the Swachata Abhiyaan or a campaign to keep our environs clean … and as an initiative by the TV channel NDTV, we make a visit to a school near by to meet the kids and speak to them of this and seek their inputs and ideas..
What an amazing morning.. children are exceptional, intelligent and of a much higher value and creed than we imagine them to be..
So we spoke of the Clean India drive that we have all been introduced to.. of using the broom , of keeping basic hygiene in place and in tact, of inculcating habits simple of washing hands and keeping the pollution away by living with caution and concern .. not just for yourself but for the other as well..

And a moment of laughter, he narrates how he was beaten up when standing in a queue for ‘Agneepath’ film and even though he had the ticket he could not go in because the Police stopped the crowds. He still has the unused ticket and he said he would present it to me for me to pay him for the mishap.
An exciting moment I would say for me and for all because when you shall see the programme you will realise that it was we that were the students and the students our teachers..
A joy to be among them that shall one day be the future and run the country.. they are free spirited, no inhibitions, no ego no self consciousness, no fear and no ill will among them.. they have truth, they have innocence and they do not hesitate to speak their minds without any hesitation..
We need to learn so much from them..
