The song highlights the importance of every living being on this planet and how they contribute to the nature. Through small examples like, while the lion is the king of the jungle, it’s the small insects that make the forest; how corals form barriers to protect the shoreline from waves and storms, the song underlines the pivotal role biodiversity play in our life. Through ‘from them, we are the world is’, the song gives out the message of co-existence.

Dhakk Dhakk Dharti emphasises that it’s not just humans who have a heart. Every living being – be it plants, animals, insects, have a heart, says Asif Bhamla, President, Bhamla Foundation, while speaking to NDTV.

Talking about the reason behind creating awareness about biodiversity through song, Asif Bhamla says,

Music has long been known to unite people and bring them together for a common cause. In the past too, we have relied on the power of music to educate people on plastic pollution and air pollution. We are grateful to the support we have received from the entire industry for a cause that needs our immediate attention.

Talking about what motivated Hungama to collaborate for a song on biodiversity and why is it pivotal to address the issue of biodiversity, Neeraj Roy, Founder and CEO, Hungama Digital Media said,

Preserving our biodiversity is one of the most critical aspects of limiting the effects of climate change and building a more sustainable environment. It is important to acknowledge the damage that has already been done to the biodiversity around us and take necessary actions to rectify the situation.
