Celebrities At The Swasth Bharat, Sampann Bharat Telethon

Actors and Actresses' join the Telethon to give their perspective as guest anchors on the status of healthcare in the country.

'In life, we carry this sense of decorum, good manners and positivity but then somewhere on social media, and in this digital world, we kind of forget that which I don't really understand why,' says actor Ananya Panday. She was a guest anchor for the session on 'Science and Health (Innovations)'and spoke about her Social Media Initiative ?So Positive' at the Swasth Bharat, Sampann Bharat India telethon.

Speaking about his advertorial that focused on hygiene, Film director Rohit Shetty says nobody knew how to fight Covid when it started. At the Swasth Bharat, Sampann Bharat Telethon, he takes the role of a guest anchor and says in India if actors guide you on something or give you information on how you can protect yourself, it helps. He also spoke on his initiative to help policemen amid the pandemic.

Rahul Bose, actor, director and philanthropist, said the pandemic has shown us that unless every single person is protected, nobody is protected. Being a guest anchor for the 'Self Care' session of the Telethon, he said it is necessary to stop invisiblising so much of society.

Masaba Gupta a renown fashion designer spoke about her takeaways from the pandemic. While talking about how she dealt with it, she said "Isolation is a very charming thing for the privileged but not a very happy experience for those who are not privileged. For me, the last two years have been liberating. As a small business owner, I had to think of my employees as well. We were working throughout the pandemic."

"You have to start from the start. It is extremely important to educate them (girls). They should know their rights, what their real strength is. I identified that as a root cause from where it begins. I wanted to instill that confidence in them that they have the right on themselves. It is very important to impart education so that they know their right, their duties, and their expectations," says Tapsee Pannu speaking as a guest anchor at the Swasth Bharat, Sampann Bharat Telethon
