Last year too during Cleanathon on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Apoorv dedicated a ‘Swachh Poem’ to Amitabh Bachchan, also from Sherwood. Mr Bachchan who has a keen ear for good poetry, appreciates Apoorva’s dedication towards #SwachhIndia, and asked him to send him his poem for him to share it on his social media platforms.
Here are the verses of Apoorv’s first poem dedicated to government’s mega ‘Clean India’ mission.
This year too Mr Bachchan applauded the young boy for his dedication and talent.
It is a good thing that students are spreading the message about the most important topic for the country – the message of Clean India in such a soulful way, I am sure these passionate words will touch many chords and encourage people to do something about issues like open defecation, waste segregation and contribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a Clean India .
