New Delhi: India has recorded 47 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while the number of active cases of the infection in the country stands at 1,464, the health ministry said on Monday (July 24). The death toll due to the disease stands at 5,31,915, according to the ministry’s data updated at 8 am.

The tally of Covid cases has gone up to 4,49,95,311, the ministry said. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.81 per cent, according to the ministry’s website.

The number of people who have recuperated from the disease has climbed to 4,44,61,932, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.18 per cent.

According to the ministry’s website, 220.67 crore doses of anti-Covid vaccines have so far been administered in the country.

Earlier, on Sunday, the country logged 40 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases  increased to 1,463, according to the Union Health Ministry updated on Sunday (July 23). The death toll stood at 5,31,915, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.81 per cent, according to the health ministry website.

Earlier on Saturday, the country recorded 60 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases have increased to 1,479 from 1,460 a day ago, according to the Union health ministry. The death toll stood at 5,31,915, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The Covid case tally was recorded at 4.49 crore (4,49,95,224). The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.81 per cent, according to the health ministry website.
