All About The #BeatPlasticPollution Challenge

With a moto of reducing the use of single-use plastic, UN Environment started the #BeatPlasticPollution challenge a few days ago in which people need to make a green switch by opting for a greener alternative to anyone single-use plastic item. They also have to challenge their friends to do the same.

Actor Alia Bhatt pledged to replace plastic bottles from her life by switching to greener alternatives. She adds,

#BeatPlasticPollution by switching to steel or glass bottles today! Plastic bottles take 450 years or more to decompose, harming us and our environment. I’m now one step closer towards purging plastic from my life. Hope you guys will make the switch too!#LetsCoexist @deespeak.

Actors Arjun Kapoor And Aditi Rao Hydari also pledged to #BeatPlasticPollution by ditching the use of plastic bottles.
