Mumbai: A few months back tweeted a picture of an Indian toilet, piquing everyone’s interest. It seems to be a unique love story, where a toilet is as important a character as the protagonists Jaya and Keshav, played by Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar.
With a movie like ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’, looks like the Bollywood fraternity is all set to spread the ‘Swachh’ message in a filmy way.
Currently more than half the population in India does not have toilets and still defecate in the open. The Government’s Swachh Bharat Mission aims to make India ‘Open Defecation Free’ by constructing 12 crore toilets by October 2, 2019.
