Now, the shoot for the movie on open defecation has come to an end and the actor has tweeted another teaser. The image shows Akshay Kumar alongside actress Bhumi Pednekar dressed as a newly-wed couple. The movie has been directed by Shree Narayan Singh and will hit the theatres on June 2.

It seems to be a unique love story, where a toilet is as important a character as the protagonists Jaya and Keshav, played by Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar.
With a movie like ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’, looks like the Bollywood fraternity is all set to spread the ‘Swachh’ message in a filmy way.
Currently more than half the population in India does not have toilets and still defecate in the open. The Government’s Swachh Bharat Mission aims to make India ‘Open Defecation Free’ by constructing 12 crore toilets by October 2, 2019.
